"My son — earlier this morning we were going over his birthday list, and he said, 'I want Paul (Walker) to come. And then he said, 'I really miss him,'
 
"Paul came to his second birthday in London while we were shooting 'Fast 6," he added.

Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker became good friends while shooting the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, and Diesel has been candid about the grief he's suffered following his co-star's tragic death in 2013.

Now, the actor is opening up about how much his son Vincent, 5, misses Walker, too.
 Diesel shared in a video he posted to Instagram on Thursday.

Diesel, who just wrapped shooting the star-studded "Fast 8," has made no secret of the pain he suffered after Walker died in a car accident at age 40.

In 2015, the action hero famously named his daughter Pauline as a tribute to his dear friend.
